ICA was recognised for its contribution in the field of Open and Distance learning (ODL) in Nepal and also felicitated for being awarded by IGNOU twice as the Best Overseas Partner Institution 2011 and 2013 , by H.E. Shri. Jayant Prasad ,Ambassador of India to Nepal , on the occasion of 67th Independence Day of India at a program organized by Nepal India Friendship Association at Kathmandu, Nepal on 15th August 2013. Mr. Amit Giri , CEO of ICA received the Certificate of Appreciation on the occasion.
