Popular mode of education among the new generation

Mode of learning in this era has varied a lot from contemporary mode of education. Skills, attitudes, values and knowledge in the complex and contemporary global context have been based entirely upon the mode of education a student prefers to study in. 21st century education is about how quickly and conveniently students can learn the skills they need to succeed in this new world and helping them gain the confidence to put them back into practice. ICA believes that in order to prepare students for success in this era, educational programs and teaching practices must incorporate the necessary mode of learning. Studies reflect that students who are put into alternative modes of learning have performed much better compared to the students being taught in mainstream traditional mode of learning. Traditional form of teaching involves lectures being given to large groups of students, accompanied by tutorials. However, there are several alternative modes of delivery that can also be very effective like Blended education mode, Part time education mode , Online study mode, Flexible learning mode and Distance Learning mode which ICA has been providing its learners all around the year.

Blended learning is a term increasingly used to describe the way in which e-learning is combined with traditional classroom methods and independent studies to create a new hybrid teaching methodology. This represents a much larger change in the basic technique than simply adding computers to the classroom; in many cases, this is a fundamental change in the way teachers and students approach the learning experience. An online degree incorporates online mode of learning where an academic degree that can be earned primarily or entirely through the use of an Internet-connected computer, rather than attending college. People today live in a world with unprecedented access to a wide range of information and experiences online. In addition, it is now possible for anyone to use mobile technologies (such as smartphones, cameras and voice recorders) which enable learning beyond the classroom walls.

Part-time mode of education can be ideal for those looking to obtain a postgraduate degree without leaving their job and wish to develop their careers while still earning for a living or for those who work from home for whatever reason and wish to develop their skills. The choice between full-time and part-time studies is a common problem faced by many students. The difference between full-time and part-time studies may really depend on the number of units or subjects taken per semester. However, full-time studies generally allow you to finish the course more quickly. Distance learning is a way of learning remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher in the classroom. Distance learning allows you to study wherever you are, arranging your studies around your work or family life. ICA has been conveying its motto “Work and Study at the same time” which itself explains that work-study balance can be achieved easily.

Open Universities such as IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) help people travel, Work and Study at the same time. There are certain instances where professionals who have to travel to different places for work have benefited from IGNOU. ICA (International Centre for Academics) which was established in 1997 and became first Partner Institute (PI) in 2002 currently, known as Overseas Study Center (OSC) of IGNOU providing an open learning platform for the learner. Its primary goal is to provide education to a student with the best educational policy likes of Blended education mode, Part time study, Online and Distance Learning method where the student can learn by working from anywhere, at any time and at their own pace without compromising professional and personal life.
